Burkardt scored two goals to go with three shots (two on goal) and one cross (one accurate) in Saturday's 2-2 draw versus VfB Stuttgart.
Analysis: Burkardt's first season in Frankfurt got off to a great start before injuries derailed him. He ended the season showing just how special he can be adding three goals in his final 38 minutes of the campaign. On the whole he finished with 13 goals and one assists in 1,340 minutes, and elite strike rate for anyone. Burkardt should be a key piece of the attack as he gets back to full fitness for next season.

Analysis: Burkardt took a single shot during Friday's loss, making the most of his only chance and finding the back of the net. The striker has been excellent when healthy this campaign, but nagging injuries have proven troublesome, and have kept him out of the starting XI at times. If he can get fully fit he should be a major contributor in 2026/27.

Analysis: Burkardt set up Can Uzun during Saturday's loss. The forward tried to get involved in the attack, but his only shot was poor and he couldn't find any space on the ball in the final third. He still ended up with the assist, but that was all he managed during the poor loss. Burkardt only has a pair more matches to try and get back to his best.
